Paver Patios

Clean lines, crisp borders and a surface that stays flat for decades, because the base is built right.

Paver Patios in the Hill Country

Built for how you live outside

Pavers give you the look of custom stone with the precision of a manufactured product: consistent thickness, crisp edges, and dozens of colors and patterns. They’re also one of the most forgiving surfaces for Central Texas soil, because a properly built paver system flexes instead of cracking.

Every paver patio we build starts below the surface: excavation, geotextile where the soil calls for it, compacted aggregate base, a screeded bedding layer, and a concrete or commercial edge restraint so the field can’t creep. Joints are finished with polymeric sand to lock the pavers and keep weeds and ants out.

We build paver patios throughout Lago Vista, Jonestown, Cedar Park, Volente, Leander and Liberty Hill, and in communities from Tessera and The Hollows to Travisso and Santa Rita Ranch.

What we build

  • Paver patios and entertaining areas
  • Pool decks and cool-deck alternatives
  • Walkways and garden paths
  • Borders, banding and inlay patterns
  • Paver steps and landings
  • Permeable paver systems for drainage
  • Polymeric sand and sealing

Classic pavers

Tumbled or smooth finishes in herringbone, running bond or basket-weave.

Large-format slabs

Modern, minimal joints; beautiful with contemporary architecture.

Travertine pavers

Natural stone pavers that stay cool; a favorite for pool decks.

Contrasting borders

A soldier-course or banded edge that frames the whole patio.

Local know-how

Built for the way Hill Country ground moves

Expansive clay in Leander, Cedar Park and Liberty Hill swells when wet and shrinks in drought. A slab cracks when that happens. A properly built paver system moves with it and can be lifted and relaid if it ever needs attention. We size the base to your soil and slope, and set grade to carry water away from the foundation.

FAQ

Paver Patios: common questions

Straight answers. If yours isn't here, call and ask. You'll talk to the person who'll build it.

Are pavers better than stamped concrete?

For most Central Texas homes, yes. Pavers don’t crack the way a slab does when clay soil moves, individual pieces can be replaced, and the color runs all the way through instead of being a surface coat.

Why do some paver patios sink or get wavy?

Almost always because of a thin or poorly compacted base, or no edge restraint. We build the base in compacted lifts and lock the edges so the field stays put.

Can pavers go around a pool?

Yes. Paver and travertine pool decks are some of our most requested builds. We coordinate with your pool builder on coping and drainage.

Will my HOA need to approve a paver patio?

Many do, especially for anything visible from the street or a greenbelt. We’ll give you a site plan and product samples for your submission.

Justin and team have kept my yard in shape, done more serious cleanup of shrubs and trees and do a fantastic job. I have seen some of his bigger jobs and they are amazing. Love the work and the people conscientious. Glad to use a local company.

We have been using Just-N-Time for a couple of years now. After trying out other services in the area that were very lackluster, Just-N-Time has proven to be the most reliable and is extremely focused on doing a great job and providing great service.
