Stone Flower Beds & Metal Edging

Crisp lines are what separate a designed landscape from a yard. We build them to last.

Stone Flower Beds & Metal Edging in the Hill Country

Built for how you live outside

Edging is the detail most people don’t notice until it’s done well. A stone-bordered bed or a clean steel line between lawn and mulch makes the whole property look sharper, and it keeps grass, rock and mulch where they belong.

We build stone-bordered and raised flower beds in limestone, chopped block and natural stone, and install steel landscape edging for clean, modern lines that don’t heave, crack or fade like plastic. New beds get proper soil, planting and your choice of mulch, rock or DG.

We build stone flower beds & metal edging throughout Lago Vista, Jonestown, Cedar Park, Volente, Leander and Liberty Hill, and in communities from Tessera and The Hollows to Travisso and Santa Rita Ranch.

Materials & styles

Choose your look

Steel edging

Thin, strong, clean line; weathers to a rich patina or stays black.

Chopped limestone

Stacked stone borders with classic Hill Country character.

Raised beds

Mortared limestone walls for deeper soil over rock.

Rock & mulch

Hardwood mulch, river rock or decomposed granite to finish.

Local know-how

Raised beds solve thin Hill Country soil

Around Lago Vista, Jonestown and Volente, bedrock is often just inches down. Raised limestone beds give plants the soil depth they need while adding stone texture to the design. In clay-heavy Leander and Liberty Hill, we amend beds so roots can breathe and water drains.

FAQ

Stone Flower Beds & Metal Edging: common questions

Straight answers. If yours isn't here, call and ask. You'll talk to the person who'll build it.

Is steel edging worth it over plastic?

Yes. Plastic edging heaves, cracks and fades in Texas sun. Steel holds a crisp line for years and looks far more finished.

Will steel edging rust?

Corten-style steel develops a stable rust patina many people love. Powder-coated or aluminum edging stays black or bronze.

What should I put in my beds: mulch or rock?

Mulch feeds soil and keeps roots cool. Rock lasts longer and suits xeriscapes. Many designs use both in different zones.

Can you redo my existing beds?

Yes. We can rebuild borders, reshape beds, replace tired plants and refresh the finish.

Justin and team have kept my yard in shape, done more serious cleanup of shrubs and trees and do a fantastic job. I have seen some of his bigger jobs and they are amazing. Love the work and the people conscientious. Glad to use a local company.

We have been using Just-N-Time for a couple of years now. After trying out other services in the area that were very lackluster, Just-N-Time has proven to be the most reliable and is extremely focused on doing a great job and providing great service.
